Mahyar T. Moghaddam is an assistant professor of Software Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). His research involves human-oriented software engineering, software architecture, user-interface adaptation to emotions, and control of self-adaptive software. With some colleagues, he introduced the novel approach of the Internet of Behaviors (IoB), which uses intelligent connected systems to gather data and further impact human behavior and decision-making. He supervises researchers in IoB, robotics, smart built environments, VR games, and BCI and teaches mobile software development, software engineering, and cloud computing courses. He has experience organizing academic events and acting as a program committee member and reviewer in various scientific communities.
