Digital Heritage 2025 – International Congress & Expo – GALA Session
At Digital Heritage 2025, Federico Martusciello presented FrAmeLab’s latest research in the Cultural Heritage domain: a prototype that integrates Gamification, Artificial Intelligence, and Polyglot to design personalized Serious Games for cultural experiences.
The study introduces a modular software architecture that enables adaptive learning pathways, AI-driven personalization, and immersive Augmented Reality storytelling. Through this system, visitors engage in dynamic, gamified experiences where AI tailors content and challenges to individual behaviors, preferences, and learning profiles.
Developed from a software engineering and architectural perspective, this work highlights how FrAmeLab is advancing the research on innovative ICT solutions for Cultural Heritage, bridging technology, education, and human experience.
The prototype demonstrates the potential for creating adaptive, inclusive, and engaging cultural journeys, paving the way for new forms of AI-enhanced interaction, gamified exploration, and curator-driven content design.
