The annual SWEN retreat takes place on July 13–15 at Borgotufi (Castel del Giudice, Alto Molise). Three days of plenary and breakout sessions, introductions of six new PhD students and postdocs, and a round table with the Deputy Rector for Research.
From July 13 to 15 the whole SWEN group (faculty, postdocs, and PhD students) gathers in Borgotufi, an albergo diffuso in Castel del Giudice (Alto Molise), for its annual retreat.
The retreat is the moment of the year when the group steps back from day-to-day work to look at the bigger picture: where our research is going, which cross-lab collaborations to start next, and who has joined us along the way.
Program highlights:
An opening plenary on the group’s objectives, communications, and collaborative research
Self-introductions by the six new PhD students and postdocs joining SWEN this year
Breakout sessions shaping cross-lab collaborations and plans for 2026–27
A closing round table with Prof. Giulio Antonini, Deputy Rector for Research
