Prof. Henry Muccini had the honour and pleasure of delivering a tutorial entitled “Digital Architecture in the Age of GenAI” to 50 digital architects from the Digital Architects Network.
Together with Karthik Vaidhyanathan, he provided an overview of how AI, when properly used, can enhance the work of software architects. The tutorial covered how AI can support software architectures at run-time, the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) to assist with a wide range of architectural tasks (including architecture decision-making, migration, reverse engineering, and documentation), and concluded with highlights on the design of agentic AI systems.
